Yas Wadi is a Danish actor, known for his captivating performances on several popular films and TV series. He is set to make his mark in the international film scene in the highly anticipated Netflix movie, Royalteen: Princess Margrethe’. A feature film directed by Ingvild Søderlind and based on the young adult novel series “Royalteen” by Randi Fuglehauge and Anne Gunn Halvorsen. Yas plays the role of Alexander, a Danish prince that Princess Margrethe has been chatting with for months and hopes to finally meet during the visit of the Danish royal family..
Furthermore, Yas is an award-winning screenwriter. His short film writing debut, ‘Tornen Dør, Blomsten Lever’, went on multiple festivals achieving worldwide recognition and for which he also won the ‘Audience Award for Best Film’. He continuously seeks to evolve and as a result, he recently wrote and starred in the short film Havet er Rødt’, (The Ocean is Red), which is set to be released later in 2023.
In 2019, Yas graduated from the acting school Cours Florent Paris with highest distinction and the award for ´best male student´ of his class. Lastly, Yas has a unique multicultural background from France, Denmark, Brazil and Iraq.
